News round-up
Can you believe the holidays are right around the corner and what a busy half term we have had making Mother’s Day cards for all you lovely mums The children painted their hands green and did prints  to look like the stems of flowers, before sticking on some colourful flowers and decorating them with gems and a sprinkle of glitter to finish them off, Then it was straight onto Easter cards with our cute rabbits sticking or drawing eyes on the cards, using pom poms and sequins for noses and finishing off with flowers, we have some very artistic children.
The weather is finally picking up now and spring is on its way although I think we have experienced every season this term! We had a fun morning  on Friday 4th March playing in the snow, some children even went out to build a snowman before school.
Of course this half term wouldn’t be complete without our “Annual Easter Egg Hunt!”
Children will be going on the hunt in teams of 2, they are given a clue to help find the 1st egg, and there are 10 eggs in total to find, each egg has a clue on to help find the next. We are hoping the Easter Bunny will deliver some chocolate eggs, once all the eggs have been found!
Make sure you check out our blog for some pictures from this half term! http://robinhoodfriendlyfaces.blogspot.co.uk

News round-up

Over the last two weeks we have spent a lot of time playing our new board games which we bought in the summer. Run, run as fast as you can has certainly become a huge hit, we have played this every night.

On Wednesday last week we had our 1st Friendly Faces Rave, the children wanted a disco Tuesday night, so with the help of some disco lights and glow sticks we had our very own mini rave.
Make sure you check out our blog for some pictures of our rave and board games! http://robinhoodfriendlyfaces.blogspot.co.uk

Next Two week focus
We will be continuing with our board games. The children are actively bringing out the games and wanting us to play, all the counting of the dice spots and spaces is helping them with their maths.

What a performance!

Our task on this was spin was hopscotch around the room.

We roll the dice and move the number of spaces. If we land on spin, we have to spin the dial and perform the task it lands on from one of the cards.

This was the forfeit we got as we weren't able to perform the task.

Run, run as fast as you can!

We have to run away from the baker, cow and horse. If they catch us, we lose a piece gingerbread man. The first person to cross the whole river wins.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears Game

We have to beat Goldilocks to the bears' house.

Friendlies First Rave

We had glow sticks and disco lights!
