round-up
Over
the last two weeks the children have been making shields for St George’s day,
they cut out a shield shape from card, before decorating them with metallic
mosaic square and sparkly shapes.
We
have also been busy making some pretty flowers; the children have used a circle
of card for the centre of the flower, before sticking orange and yellow tissue
paper petals on. They then decorated their flowers with some nice bright
glitter glues.
Check
out our blog for some pictures of the children making their shields and
flowers. http://robinhoodfriendlyfaces.blogspot.co.uk
Next Two week focus
Over
the next two weeks we will be continuing with our flowers, we will be painting
egg boxes in bright paint to make tulips, as well as using bright coloured card
to make some gerberas.
Quick
Note
As
the weather is becoming warmer and lighter, we will be spending a lot more time
outside, could you please ensure that on hot days your child has sun cream and a hat please. You are more than welcome to send in sun cream to leave
with us over the summer months, but please label this with your child’s name.
