Friendly Faces Newsletter
News round-up
Over the last two weeks we
have been making a small dent in our Christmas activities with every child
sponge painting a red stocking for our Christmas display.
We have weighed and measured
out the ingredients for Christmas cake, and used our strong muscles for lots of
mixing.
Check out our blog for some
pictures of the children sponge painting and baking! http://robinhoodfriendlyfaces.blogspot.co.uk
Next Two week focus
Over the next two weeks we
will be making a start on decorating our Christmas cakes with marzipan, icing
and some edible Christmas decorations.
We will be making stained
glass window decorations from cardboard Christmas shapes and coloured
cellophane to go with our Christmas tree and decorations that will also be
going up next week.
Quick Note
PLEASE
could you make sure you let us know by text, phone or Email by 2.30pm if your
child will NOT be attending friendly faces on their regular day,
With the weather changing we
do ask if you could provide some slippers or indoor shoes for your child. On
wet days our play room floor becomes very slippery as you can imagine with 24 pairs
of wet shoes walking on it.
