Friendly Faces Newsletter
News round-up
Over the last two weeks we
have been finishing off our papier mache balloons getting ready to paint and
transform them in to witches/ wizards cauldrons!
We have also been decorating
some spooky bats using glitter glue and Halloween stickers ready for Halloween,
our windows inside look like we have been taken over by bats!
Check out our blog for some
pictures of the children decorating their bats!

Next two week focus
Next week we will be putting
the finishing touches to our cauldrons, painting them black inside and out and
adding a spooky touch with some Halloween glitters, as well as carving spooky
faces into some pumpkins.
After half term we will be
building a leaf bonfire in the playground and enjoying some campfire songs
around it! We will also be making some bonfire and firework pictures using lots
of sparkly glitter and red & yellow cellophane.
Quick Note
With the weather starting to
change we do ask if you could provide some slippers or indoor shoes for your
child, on wet days our playroom floor becomes very slippery as you can imagine
with 24 pairs of wet shoes walking on it.
Could I also ask that if
your child won’t be attending Friendly faces on their usual day could you
please let us know. This saves a lot of upset on the children’s part when we go
to collect them and they say they are being collected from school. It also
helps us in knowing which children are in so we aren’t chasing up children at
the end of the school day.
